Firemaster Marine Curtains

 

Coopers FireMaster Marine Curtains are specially designed for the extremes of the Marine industry. They are motor-driven, flexible, automatic and produced to Coopers’ high quality standards however they have 2 main differences from our standard FireMaster Curtains.

These are:-

  1. They are made from Coopers IMO Marine compliant fabric.
  2. They are usually controlled by a ‘Power Up, Power Down’ system (as required by the marine industry).

Testing

The curtains are tested by Warrington Fire Research Centre and Lloyd's Register to International Marine Organisation (IMO) regulations and achieved certification to 'A0' for IMO Resolution A.754 (18).

Controls

The Marine Curtains are usually controlled by a ‘Power Up, Power Down’ system so to maintain freedom of movement around the narrow corridors in a ship in the case of a fire. Coopers' Gravity Fail Safe system can be incorporated upon request.

FireMaster Marine Fire Curtains are easily intrograted and centrally controlled by a ship’s bridge or by remote locations throughout the ship.

The Curtains can be installed on both commercial vessels and luxury ships / yachts with installation providing the possibility for significant weight savings.
