FireMaster Servery with 2 hours integrity, is a totally new engineering concept designed specifically for small to large openings in fire compartment walls. The unit stays fully retracted and out-of-sight and operates only in the event of fire. Ideal for use in kitchen and canteen environments, the FireMaster Servery provides uninterrupted access between two work areas.

Just like the Roller (Virtual) fire door, it is easy to install and requires no special steelwork structure.

This revolutionary product with its off-the-shelf, lightweight design eliminates the problems of heavy and ugly steel shutters.

The Fire curtain fabric complies with all the requirements of BS 476 Part 22 1987. It meets the Class 0 requirements of England and Wales Building Regulations 1991, the requirement for Fire Propagation of BS476 Part 6 1989 and has Nil Spread of Flame, achieving Class 1 according to BS476 Part 7 1997.

Curtain
The EFP 2/1000 is a composite material of stainless steel mesh and woven glass fibre base fabric, coated in a specially developed reflective aluminium enriched polymer. Tested in accordance with BS 476 Parts 6,7 and 22. Please note, curtains over 1.0m wide may contain visible seams.

Bottom Rail
A square section bottom rail is attached to the curtain to assist downwards movement; When in the stored position the fire curtain's bottom bar creates a slimline soffit, with no visible fixings for a clean, uncluttered appearance.

Roller
The fire curtain fabric winds onto a tubular 70mm barrel of mild steel tube of sufficient diameter and wall thickness to resist deflection - mounted on endplate bearings.

Casing
Casings are manufactured from galvanised steel to suit a range of standard sizes. The barrel and curtain assembly is housed within the casing, and is a face fixed structure.

Guides
Fire curtains require side guides to provide a seal between the curtain fabric and the structure of the building. A fire can cause positive or negative pressure, which can cause the curtain to billow and pull the fabric out of the side guides. Tabs are fixed to the outer edges of the fire curtain to prevent this occurring. The side guides are made from galvanised steel - 85mm deep x 29mm wide, and prepared for fixing to the opening structure by non-visible bolts.

Finish
Guides, bottom rails and casings are supplied as standard in RAL 9010 white, 316 brushed stainless steel, and polyester powder coated in a range of standard RAL colours also available at extra cost.
